If you are a woman entrepreneur, Georgia celebrates you! The second annual Women Entrepreneurs Day in Georgia at the State Capital will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 Monday, March 21 from 8 a.m. to noon 9:30am-1:30pm. Participation is free but requires an RSVP to by Thursday, February 24.The event was created by Ms. CEO and Sen. Orrock in 2010 and aims to salute women business owners for their contributions as well as provide direct connections to elected officials who set policies that impact small business; and to offer valuable business-building information.

The agenda for the day is as follows:

* Check-in and light breakfast

* Press Conference

* Resolution ceremony and recognition in the Senate and House chambers

* Lunch, special presentations and networking

Georgia’s women business owners generate $40.5 billion in revenue annually and employ more than 229,000 people statewide-substantial contributions despite historical barriers, unique challenges and a tough economic climate. It’s definitely a day to celebrate! So ladies bring lots of business cards and let’s celebrate each other!
