On November 4, 2008 Proposition 8 passed in California, amending the state Constituion to ban same-sex marriage. The defeat provoked a  groundswell of initiative within the GLBT commnity at a rassroots level, with many new polital and protest organizations being formed in response.

With nearly 5,500 faces NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. You can see thousands of celebrities and everyday people silently protesting.

I have been a supporter of NOH8 Campaign for a couple years and have been waiting to show my support here in Atlanta! On Sunday January 16 th from 3pmEST-7pmEST at the W Atlanta-Midtown, NOH8 will set up their studio opening up the opportunity to join the campaign.

If you are in line by 7pm they will do their best to ensure you are photographed. You are asked to wear a plain white shirt to match the look of the signature NOH8 photos. Solo NOH8 photos will require a fee of $40 per person while any group or couple photos will require a $25 fee per person in the photo. 5-10 frames will be taken and the the final selection Adam choses will be retouched and made available to you through the website.
