The Next Cool Thing:Over 90,000 sq ft of Creative Collaboration

Georgia has been home to some amazing blockbuster films so it’s no wonder that the Georgia Production Partnership came up with “The Next Cool Thing” a three-day event showcasing fabulous design as hundreds of interior designers, film industry art department professionals, builders, suppliers and local manufacturers create sets for the most amazing display of creative collaboration January 14-16, 2011 . This three day event will feature exhibits based on a film or television theme and showcase local talent and resources for the purpose of building the infrastructure for the growing film and television industry as it explodes on the scene spurred by the recent 30% tax incentives for the State.

Kicking off the weekend is a red carpet cocktails VIP event with live performances and an opportunity to sample food and beverages from dozens of top catering, restaurant and libations experts in Atlanta. Purchase tickets for $35 to experience the magic. The entire family is invited to explore hundreds of creative exhibits based on movies or television themes on Saturday January 15; tickets at $10 available on-line and $15 at the door.
